Kaumo is a South African company that designs and sells everyday electronics. Our rule is short: if it needs a manual, it isn't finished.

How we started

It began with ZapOne, a pre-charged emergency charger you plug straight into your phone. People kept one in the car, the handbag, the desk drawer, and it did exactly one job well.

The question we heard most often was simple: is there one I can charge again? Businesses asked the same thing, because they want products that don't end up in the bin after one use.

So we built Kaumo as the home for everything we make. ZapOne stays, and Kaumo Power 10 joins it as our first rechargeable product. Every product after it will carry the Kaumo name.

We list products before we stock them, so you can reserve what you want without paying up front.

    Pick a product and leave your details. It's free and there's no payment yet.

  2. We source it

    We order stock based on reservations and email you as it moves.

  3. Confirm and pay

    When it lands, we send the final price and a secure payment link. Not keen anymore? Just ignore it.

Questions

How long does delivery take?

In-stock orders ship within 2–4 working days anywhere in South Africa. You'll get an email once your order is on its way.

How do I pay?

By card through Yoco's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.

Do I pay anything to pre-order?

No. A reservation is free. When the product arrives we email you the final price and a payment link, and your order is only confirmed once you pay.

What's the difference between Kaumo Power 10 and ZapOne?

Kaumo Power 10 is rechargeable: charge it, use it, charge it again. ZapOne arrives pre-charged for one emergency top-up, then comes back to us for recycling.

Can I return something?

Yes. If a product is faulty, or you change your mind within 7 days and it's unused, email us and we'll arrange a return.

Do you sell to businesses and retailers?

Yes. We supply stores, events and companies. Email us for bulk pricing and our partner pack.
